Book Society is a bookstore + wine lounge in Berkeley, California — and every so often, we take the book club on the road. Since opening in December 2024, we've become the living room in Berkeley's Elmwood neighborhood for readers: book clubs, author nights, yoga in the stacks, and the occasional ferry ride to discuss a novel somewhere other than the couch. Our Traveling Book Club retreats are that same instinct with a passport: a good book, a small group, a place worth reading it in, and unhurried time to talk about all three. Come for the book.
